Shari H. Scott
Shari H. Scott, PhD, APRN, PMHNP-BC, LMFT-S, LPC-S, brings her academic training and experience to Heart’s Way Ranch. Her work expands more than 35 years and includes medicine, nursing, family and individual therapy, addictions and the full life continuum from childhood to adulthood.
Shari's personal story grows from having more than three decades of continuous sobriety. Shari’s experience working within a full continuum of care—from inpatient, emergency room and outpatient care—is a testimony to her lifelong dedication to the service of others.
Her specialties include addiction, relationships, eating disorders and family conflict, as well as the following issues:
Susan Carter, CPSW, has worked for three decades as a senior executive in both the nonprofit and profit sectors. Her continual sobriety spans more than two decades. She has been dedicated and passionate about the health and wellbeing of women, personally as well as professionally, throughout her career.
Susan has spent significant time learning and practicing complementary medicine and spiritual enlightenment to the benefit of herself and others. Her commitment to detail and excellence is tailored to manifest an optimal experience for all who stay at Heart’s Way Ranch.
Holding high watch over the property, owners, and residents at all times is the Heart's Way Ranch talisman Alex. As a canine of unknown descent, and once disheveled and dishonorable on all accounts, Alex now holds the position of cherished mascot at Heart's Way Ranch. He is the most handsome and loyal male this side of the Mississippi.
This "old soul" guards the grounds and befriends anyone and everyone who radiates love and kindness, and will be quick to run off those who try to fake it!
